Dr. Javier Portocarrero studied molecular cellular developmental biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz and then went on to earn his doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Javier Portocarrero has been practicing dentistry since 2004.
Following dental school, he spent three years working for a dental corporation. His stint in corporate dentistry inspired him to go into private practice in 2008, serving patients of all ages to the quality dental care they deserve.
After almost 14 years of practicing dentistry, he has seen many changes in the dental field. To keep up with the latest and greatest in dental techniques and technologies, he attends regular continuing education courses at prestigious organizations like the Engel Institute in North Carolina.
